[828] "Therefore, bhikkhu, you should first purify the very starting point of wholesome states (kusalā dhammā). And what is the starting point of wholesome states? Here, bhikkhu, dwell restrained by the restraint of the Pātimokkha (pāṭimokkhasaṃvara), accomplished in conduct and resort (ācāragocara), seeing danger in the slightest faults; having undertaken them, train in the training rules (sikkhāpada)."
