[873] And what, bhikkhus, is the faculty of mindfulness (satindriya)? That mindfulness, bhikkhus, which one obtains in dependence on the four establishments of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna) — this, bhikkhus, is called the faculty of mindfulness.
