[874] And what, bhikkhus, is the faculty (indriya) of concentration (samādhi)? Here, bhikkhus, a noble disciple, having made relinquishment (vossagga) the object, gains concentration, gains one-pointedness of mind (citta). This, bhikkhus, is called the faculty of concentration.
