[862] And what, bhikkhus, is the faculty of concentration (samādhindriyaṃ)? Here, bhikkhus, a noble disciple, having made relinquishment (vossagga) the object, gains concentration (samādhi), gains one-pointedness of mind (citta). This, bhikkhus, is called the faculty of concentration.
