Dutiyasaṅkhittasutta

Suttapiṭaka · Saṁyuttanikāya · Mahāvaggasaṁyutta · Vol. 19 · Section 879

[879] Bhikkhus, with the completion and fulfillment of these five faculties (indriya) one is an arahant; with faculties weaker than these one is a non-returner (anāgāmī); with faculties weaker than these one is a once-returner (sakadāgāmī); with faculties weaker than these one is a stream-enterer (sotāpanna); with faculties weaker than these one is a Dhamma-follower (dhammānusārī); with faculties weaker than these one is a faith-follower (saddhānusārī). Thus, bhikkhus, from difference in faculties there is difference in fruit; from difference in fruit there is difference in persons.
