[929] And what, bhikkhus, is the grief faculty (domanassindriyaṃ)? Whatever mental pain (dukkha) there is, bhikkhus, whatever mental discomfort, the painful and uncomfortable feeling born of mind-contact (manosamphassa) — this, bhikkhus, is called the grief faculty.
