[933] "And what, bhikkhus, is the faculty of pain (dukkhindriya)? Whatever bodily suffering (dukkha) there is, bhikkhus, whatever bodily discomfort — painful, disagreeable feeling (vedanā) born of body-contact — this, bhikkhus, is called the faculty of pain."
