[934] And what, bhikkhus, is the faculty of joy (somanassindriya)? Whatever mental pleasure (cetasikaṃ sukhaṃ), whatever mental comfort (cetasikaṃ sātaṃ) there is — the pleasant, comfortable feeling born of mind-contact (manosamphassajaṃ): this, bhikkhus, is called the faculty of joy.
