[119] "**Ten days at most**" means: it may be kept for ten days at the maximum.
"**An extra bowl (atirekapatta)**" means: a bowl that has not been determined (anadhiṭṭhita), not assigned (avikappita).
"**Bowl (patta)**" means: there are two kinds of bowl — the iron bowl and the clay bowl.
There are three grades (vaṇṇā) of bowl: the large bowl, the medium bowl, and the small bowl.
The **large bowl** takes half an āḷhaka of boiled rice, a fourth part of that in solid food (khādanīya), and curry (byañjana) suitable thereto.
The **medium bowl** takes a nāḷika of boiled rice, a fourth part of that in solid food, and curry suitable thereto.
The **small bowl** takes a pattha of boiled rice, a fourth part of that in solid food, and curry suitable thereto.
Larger than that, it is not a bowl; smaller than that, it is not a bowl.
