[137] There is no offence (anāpatti): for one whose bowl is lost; for one whose bowl is broken; when asking from relatives; when asking from those who have given an invitation (pavārita); when asking for the sake of another; when obtained by means of one's own wealth; for one who is mad; for the first offender (ādikammika).
