Vinayapiṭaka · Bhikkhu Vibhaṅga (2) · Vol. 2 · Section 126

[126] There is no offense: if within ten days he determines it (adhiṭṭheti), assigns it (vikappeti), or gives it away; if it is lost, if it is destroyed, if it is broken; if someone takes it by force; if someone takes it on trust (vissāsa); if the bhikkhu is insane; if he is the first offender (ādikammika).
