[125] Should a bhikkhu, without having forfeited a bowl (patta) that is subject to forfeiture (nissaggiya), make use of it, there is an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). When ten days have not elapsed, if he perceives that they have elapsed, there is an offence of wrong-doing. When ten days have not elapsed, if he is in doubt, there is an offence of wrong-doing. When ten days have not elapsed, if he perceives that they have not elapsed, there is no offence (anāpatti).
