[18] A pavilion (māḷa) belongs to a single family: having deposited the robe within the pavilion, he must dwell within the pavilion. A pavilion belongs to different families, having various rooms (gabbha) and various inner chambers (ovaraka): he must dwell in that room in which the robe has been deposited, or at the foot of the door, or he must not move beyond arm's reach (hatthapāsa).
