[345] When there is a limitation as to offenses (āpattipariyanta), if, setting aside those offenses (āpatti) that have been specified, he informs of other offenses, there is an offense of pācittiya.
When there is a limitation as to families (kulapariyanta), if, setting aside those families that have been specified, he informs among other families, there is an offense of pācittiya.
When there is both a limitation as to offenses and a limitation as to families, if, setting aside those offenses that have been specified and setting aside those families that have been specified, he informs of other offenses among other families, there is an offense of pācittiya.
When there is neither a limitation as to offenses nor a limitation as to families, there is no offense.
