Vinayapiṭaka · Bhikkhu Vibhaṅga (2) · Vol. 2 · Section 370

[370] "Causing complaint" (ujjhāpanaka) means: wishing to disparage, wishing to bring disrepute, wishing to embarrass one fully ordained (upasampanna) who has been agreed upon by the Saṅgha as assigner of lodgings, or as distributor of meals, or as distributor of gruel, or as distributor of fruit, or as distributor of solid food, or as distributor of minor items — one complains about or criticizes that fully ordained one: there is an offense of pācittiya.
