[409] **"Should exhort" (ovadeyya)** means: he exhorts with the eight principles of respect (garudhamma) — an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya). He exhorts with another dhamma — an offense of wrongdoing (dukkaṭa). He exhorts one ordained on one side only — an offense of wrongdoing.
