[438] Should a bhikkhu — desiring to disparage, desiring to discredit, desiring to cause embarrassment — speak thus to one who is fully ordained (upasampanna) but has not been agreed upon by the Saṅgha as an instructor of bhikkhunīs, saying: "You instruct for the sake of robes, for the sake of almsfood, for the sake of lodging, for the sake of medicinal requisites for the sick, for the sake of honor, for the sake of respect, for the sake of esteem, for the sake of homage, for the sake of veneration" — there is an offense of wrongdoing (dukkaṭa).
