[559] When [the invitation] is limited as to medicines (bhesajjapariyanta): setting aside those medicines with which he has been invited (pavārito), he asks for other medicines — an offence of pācittiya. When [the invitation] is limited as to nights (rattipariyanta): setting aside those nights for which he has been invited, he asks during other nights — an offence of pācittiya. When [the invitation] is limited both as to medicines and as to nights: setting aside those medicines with which he has been invited, and setting aside those nights for which he has been invited, he asks for other medicines during other nights — an offence of pācittiya. When there is neither a limit as to medicines nor a limit as to nights, there is no offence.
