Rahopaṭicchannasikkhāpada

[570] There is no offense (anāpatti): if he stays two or three nights; if he stays less than two or three nights; if, having stayed two nights, he departs before the dawn of the third night and then stays again; if he stays while sick; if he stays on account of business for one who is sick; if the army is blockaded by an opposing army; if he is obstructed by something; in emergencies; for one who is mad; for the first offender (ādikammika).
