[576] **Surā** means: liquor made from flour, liquor made from cakes, liquor made from cooked rice, liquor into which yeast (kiṇṇa) has been cast, and liquor combined with ingredients. **Meraya** means: a fermented drink of flowers, a fermented drink of fruits, a fermented drink of honey, a fermented drink of jaggery, and a fermented drink combined with ingredients. **Should drink**: if he drinks even so little as with the tip of a blade of kusa grass, there is an offense of pācittiya.
