[679] There is no offense (anāpatti): if he knows, "He has not been expelled (anāsitaka)"; if he knows, "He has relinquished that view"; for one who is insane; for the first offender (ādikammika). The Tenth Training Rule is finished. The Sappāṇaka Chapter, the seventh, [is finished]. ___________________ The summary thereof (uddāna): Intentionally killing a living being; [water] containing living beings; reopening [a settled case];¹ concealing a grave [offense]; one less than twenty years; a caravan [of thieves]; traveling by arrangement²; Ariṭṭha; the suspended one,³ and Kaṇḍaka — these are the ten training rules. _____________ ¹ Ma[hāsaṅgīti/Burmese] reads: ukkoṭaṃ ... ² Ma: saṃvidhānaṃ ... ³ Ma: ukkhittaṃ ...
