Tatiyapāṭidesanīyasikkhāpada

[793] There is no offense (anāpatti): for one who has been invited (nimantita); for one who is ill; if he eats what is left over by one who has been invited or by one who is ill; if almsfood has been set out there for other bhikkhus; if they bring it out from the house and give it; in the case of a regular meal (niccabhatta), a ticket-meal (salākabhatta), a fortnightly meal (pakkhika), an uposatha-day meal (uposathika), or a first-of-the-fortnight meal (pāṭipadika); if one gives what may be consumed within a watch (yāmakālika), what may be consumed within seven days (sattāhakālika), or what may be consumed for as long as life lasts (yāvajīvika), saying, "Consume it when there is a reason (paccaya)"; for one who is insane (ummattaka); for the first offender (ādikammika).
