[134] Bhikkhus, those bhikkhus who explain dhamma as "dhamma" … who explain what is not the Discipline (vinaya) as "not the Discipline" … who explain the Discipline as "the Discipline" … who explain what was not spoken, not uttered by the Tathāgata as "not spoken, not uttered by the Tathāgata" … who explain what was spoken, uttered by the Tathāgata as "spoken, uttered by the Tathāgata" … who explain what was not practiced (anāciṇṇa) by the Tathāgata as "not practiced by the Tathāgata" … who explain what was practiced by the Tathāgata as "practiced by the Tathāgata" … who explain what was not laid down (appaññatta) by the Tathāgata as "not laid down by the Tathāgata" … who explain what was laid down by the Tathāgata as "laid down by the Tathāgata" — those bhikkhus, bhikkhus, are practicing for the welfare of the many, for the happiness of the many, for the good, the welfare, and the happiness of many people, of devas and human beings; and those bhikkhus, bhikkhus, generate much merit, and they establish this true Dhamma (saddhamma).
