[163] Bhikkhus, it is impossible, there is no opportunity, that two universal monarchs (rājāno cakkavattī) should arise in one world-element (lokadhātu) neither before nor after one another: such a possibility is not found. But it is possible, bhikkhus, that a single universal monarch should arise in one world-element: such a possibility is found.
