[192] Bhikkhus, there is one person who, arising in the world, arises for the welfare of many people, for the happiness of many people, for the good, welfare, and happiness of the multitude, of devas and humans. Who is that one person? It is one of right view (sammādiṭṭhika), whose vision is undistorted (aviparītadassana). He draws many people away from what is not the true Dhamma (asaddhamma) and establishes them in the true Dhamma (saddhamma). This, bhikkhus, is the one person who, arising in the world, arises for the welfare of many people, for the happiness of many people, for the good, welfare, and happiness of the multitude, of devas and humans.
