[312] Bhikkhus, there are these two kinds of happiness. What two? Happiness accompanied by taints (āsava) and happiness free from taints. These, bhikkhus, are the two kinds of happiness. Of these two kinds of happiness, bhikkhus, this is the foremost: namely, the happiness free from taints.
