Dutiyapaṇṇāsaka

[313] Bhikkhus, there are these two kinds of happiness (sukha). What two? Carnal happiness (sāmisa sukha) and spiritual happiness (nirāmisa sukha). These, bhikkhus, are the two kinds of happiness. Of these two kinds of happiness, bhikkhus, this is the foremost, namely, spiritual happiness.
