Dutiyapaṇṇāsaka

[320] Bhikkhus, there are these two kinds of happiness (sukha). Which two? Happiness with the agreeable (sāta) as its object, and happiness with equanimity as its object. These, bhikkhus, are the two kinds of happiness. Of these two kinds of happiness, bhikkhus, this is the foremost, namely, happiness with equanimity as its object.
