Ekanibāta

[45] Bhikkhus, here, having encompassed his mind (citta) with my own mind, I understand a certain person of clear mind (pasannacitta) thus: 'If this person were to die at this time, he would be placed in heaven as surely as if he had been carried off and put there.' For what reason? Because his mind is clear. It is because of clarity of mind (cetopasāda), bhikkhus, that some beings here, with the breakup of the body, after death, are reborn in a good destination, in a heavenly world.
