[487] [48] Bhikkhus, there are these three unconditioned-characteristics of the unconditioned (asaṅkhatassa asaṅkhatalakkhaṇāni). What three? No arising is discerned; no vanishing is discerned; no alteration of that which persists is discerned. These, bhikkhus, are the three unconditioned-characteristics of the unconditioned.
