[136] Bhikkhus, these four persons are found existing in the world. What four? Here, bhikkhus, a certain person is one who does not fulfill virtue (sīla), does not fulfill concentration (samādhi), and does not fulfill wisdom (paññā). Again, bhikkhus, a certain person here is one who fulfills virtue, but does not fulfill concentration and does not fulfill wisdom. Again, bhikkhus, a certain person here is one who fulfills virtue and fulfills concentration, but does not fulfill wisdom. Again, bhikkhus, a certain person here is one who fulfills virtue, fulfills concentration, and fulfills wisdom. These, bhikkhus, are the four persons found existing in the world.
