[219] Bhikkhus, there are these five dangers (ādīnava) in fire. What five? It is bad for the eyes, it spoils the complexion, it causes weakness, it promotes socializing in company, and it leads to unedifying animal talk (tiracchānakathā). These, bhikkhus, are the five dangers in fire.
