[269] Bhikkhus, for the direct knowledge (abhiññā) of lust (rāga), five dhammas should be developed. Which five? The faith faculty (saddhindriya), the energy faculty (viriyindriya), the mindfulness faculty (satindriya), the concentration faculty (samādhindriya), and the wisdom faculty (paññindriya). Bhikkhus, for the direct knowledge of lust, these five dhammas should be developed.
