[363] Bhikkhus, there are these six cases of impossibility (abhabbaṭṭhāna). What six? A person accomplished in view (diṭṭhisampanna) is incapable of dwelling without respect and without deference toward the Teacher; a person accomplished in view is incapable of dwelling without respect and without deference toward the Dhamma; a person accomplished in view is incapable of dwelling without respect and without deference toward the Saṅgha; a person accomplished in view is incapable of dwelling without respect and without deference toward the training; a person accomplished in view is incapable of falling back upon any ground that should not be resorted to (anāgamanīyavatthu); a person accomplished in view is incapable of producing an eighth existence. These, bhikkhus, are the six cases of impossibility.
