[93] Bhikkhus, there are these five declarations of final knowledge (aññā). What five? One declares final knowledge because of dullness, because of stupidity; one of evil desires (pāpiccha), overcome by desire, declares final knowledge; one declares final knowledge because of madness, because of derangement of mind; one declares final knowledge out of overestimation (adhimāna); one declares final knowledge rightly. These, bhikkhus, are the five declarations of final knowledge.
