[88] Bhikkhus, for the direct knowledge (abhiññā) of lust (rāga), seven dhammas are to be developed. Which seven? The perception of impermanence (aniccasaññā), the perception of non-self (anattasaññā), the perception of foulness (asubhasaññā), the perception of danger (ādīnavasaññā), the perception of abandoning (pahānasaññā), the perception of dispassion (virāgasaññā), and the perception of cessation (nirodhasaññā). Bhikkhus, for the direct knowledge of lust, these seven dhammas are to be developed.
