[185] Bhikkhus, I will teach you the dhamma that should be made much of (bahulīkātabba) and that which should not be made much of. Listen to it… And what, bhikkhus, is the dhamma that should not be made much of? The destruction of life (pāṇātipāta) … wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi): this, bhikkhus, is called the dhamma that should not be made much of. And what, bhikkhus, is the dhamma that should be made much of? Abstaining from the destruction of life … right view (sammādiṭṭhi): this, bhikkhus, is called the dhamma that should be made much of.
