[187] Bhikkhus, I will teach you the dhamma that should be realized (sacchikātabba) and the dhamma that should not be realized. Listen to it … And what, bhikkhus, is the dhamma that should not be realized? The destruction of life (pāṇātipāta) … wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi) — this, bhikkhus, is called the dhamma that should not be realized. And what, bhikkhus, is the dhamma that should be realized? Abstention from the destruction of life … right view (sammādiṭṭhi) — this, bhikkhus, is called the dhamma that should be realized.
