[192] Bhikkhus, possessing ten qualities, a laywoman (upāsikā) dwells at home without self-confidence. What ten? She is one who destroys life (pāṇātipātinī) … she is one of wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi). Bhikkhus, possessing these ten qualities, a laywoman dwells at home without self-confidence. Bhikkhus, possessing ten qualities, a laywoman dwells at home with self-confidence. What ten? She is one who abstains from destroying life … she is one of right view (sammādiṭṭhi). Bhikkhus, possessing these ten qualities, a laywoman dwells at home with self-confidence.
