[64] "Bhikkhus, all those who have unwavering confidence (aveccappasāda) in me are stream-enterers (sotāpanna). Of those stream-enterers, five reach their consummation (niṭṭhā) here; five reach their consummation having left here.
"Which five reach their consummation here? The one with seven rebirths at most (sattakkhattuparama), the clan-to-clan (kolaṅkola), the single-seed (ekabījī), the once-returner (sakadāgāmī), and the one who is an arahant in this very life. These five reach their consummation here.
"Which five reach their consummation having left here? The one who attains Parinibbāna within the first half of the life-span (antarāparinibbāyī), the one who attains Parinibbāna after the first half of the life-span (upahaccaparinibbāyī), the one who attains Parinibbāna without exertion (asaṅkhāraparinibbāyī), the one who attains Parinibbāna with exertion (sasaṅkhāraparinibbāyī), and the one bound upstream, going to the Akaniṭṭha realm (uddhaṃsota akaniṭṭhagāmī). These five reach their consummation having left here.
"Bhikkhus, all those who have unwavering confidence in me are stream-enterers. Of those stream-enterers, these five reach their consummation here; these five reach their consummation having left here."
