The five aggregates (pañcakkhandhā), fully understood, stand with their root cut off; # 1 Ma., Yu.: vamitvāna. 2 Po.: pārāsiriyo; Ma.: pārāsariyo. 3 Po., Ma.: abhisatto. # 4 Po., Ma., Yu.: pasakkiya. 5 Yu.: osiya. the destruction of suffering (dukkha) has been reached; the destruction of the taints (āsava) has been attained by me. The Elder Isidatta. Summary (uddāna): Jenta and Vacchagotta, and Vaccha who is called Nāga,(1) Adhimutta, Mahānāma, Pārāpariya, and Yasa too, Kimbila and Vajjiputta, and Isidatta of great fame. The twelfth chapter (vagga). Herein is the summary: One hundred and twenty elders, their task accomplished, free from taints, have been well recited by the great seers in the Book of the Ones itself.
