[265] 8. "Destroyed indeed is my birth (jāti); fulfilled is the Victor's teaching (jinasāsana); abandoned is that which is called 'the net' (jāla); the conduit to existence (bhavanetti) has been utterly uprooted. That goal for the sake of which I went forth from home into homelessness— that goal of mine has been attained: the destruction of all fetters (saṃyojana)." Surādha Thera.
