[273] 6. The woman Kāḷī — huge, crow-like in appearance —
having broken a thigh, and then the other thigh,
having broken an arm, and then the other arm,
having broken the head, like a bowl of curds,
there she sits, having arranged them together.
Whoever, indeed, unknowing, makes acquisition (upadhi),
that dullard comes to suffering (dukkha) again and again;
therefore, one who understands should not make acquisition,
thinking, "May I never again lie with a broken head!"
