[295] 8. Having abandoned the five strands of sensual pleasure (kāmaguṇa), so dear and delightful to the mind, and having gone forth from home out of faith (saddhā), one should become a maker of the end of suffering (dukkha). I do not delight in death; I do not delight in life; and I await my time, clearly comprehending and mindful. The Elder Nisabha.
