[419] 18. Having abandoned the house and gone forth, having abandoned son and dear livestock, having abandoned lust (rāga) and hatred (dosa), and having dispelled ignorance (avijjā), having plucked out craving (taṇhā) together with its root, I am at peace, quenched (nibbutā).
