[427] 8. Upward from the soles of the feet, mother, and downward from the tips of the hair, contemplate this body — impure, of putrid odour. For me, dwelling thus, all lust (rāga) has been uprooted; the burning (pariḷāha) has been cut off: I have become cool, quenched (nibbutā). Abhayamātā (the mother of Abhaya).
