[435] 6. What has happened to these people in Rājagaha? They sit as though they had drunk mead — they who do not attend upon Sukkā as she teaches the Buddha's teaching (buddhasāsana). But that teaching — irresistible, unadulterated, rich in nourishment — the wise drink, I think, as travelers drink of a rain-cloud. O Sukkā, possessed of bright qualities (sukkehi dhammehi), free of lust, concentrated (samāhitā), bear your final body, having conquered Māra together with his mount. Sukkā.
