[55] 5. "Lofty is this mansion (vimāna) with pillars of gems, twelve yojanas all around, … and your beauty (vaṇṇa) shines in all directions." That young deva (devaputta), delighted, questioned by Moggallāna, … of what deed (kamma) this is the fruit. "Divine is my lifespan of a thousand years — [merit] voiced by speech and sustained by mind: for just so long will the doer of merit remain, endowed with divine sensual pleasures. Because of that my beauty is such … and my beauty shines in all directions." (1) The Dvārapālaka Vimāna, the fifth.
