[87] "Your body is golden all over; it shines forth to all the quarters; yet your mouth is like that of a pig. What deed (kamma) did you do in the past?" [The peta replied:] "I was restrained in body, but I was unrestrained in speech; therefore my appearance is such as you see, Nārada. This I say to you, Nārada — this you have seen for yourself: do no evil (pāpa) with the mouth; do not become pig-mouthed!" The Sūkara Peta Story (Sūkarapetavatthu), the second.
