[1490] That which cannot be gained by a human, nor again by a non-human — "May my son, once born, not die!" — whence could the unobtainable be gained? Not by spells, nor by root-medicines, nor by herbs, nor by wealth, is it possible, O Kaṇha, to bring back the departed one for whom you grieve.
